Job Description

Precise Systems is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to provide program management and acquisition support to our customer. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Navy aviation acquisition programs and hands-on experience with Acquisition Management System (AMS) and Program Management Tool (PMT) applications. The successful candidate will support program leadership and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) with program execution, acquisition documentation, schedule and milestone tracking, financial and funding activities, data analysis, and development of programmatic products. The position requires an individual who can operate independently, manage competing priorities, and effectively coordinate with Government, contractor, and industry stakeholders.

Duties:
  • Provide program management and acquisition support to PMA-207 IPTs and program leadership.
  • Utilize AMS and PMT to develop, maintain, and manage programmatic documentation, acquisition artifacts, milestones, and program data.
  • Support development, review, coordination, and submission of Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs), program documentation, CDRLs, briefings, and other acquisition products.
  • Track program schedules, milestones, deliverables, action items, and program performance metrics.
  • Support Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) activities, including funding execution, budget documentation, and resource tracking.
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), IPT meetings, and senior leadership briefings.
  • Analyze program data and develop reports, dashboards, charts, and briefing materials to support program decision-making.
  • Maintain program trackers and databases and ensure data integrity across program management systems.
  • Support acquisition planning, contract execution, and coordination of programmatic requirements.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), and other acquisition documentation.
  • Coordinate with Government personnel, support contractors, prime contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve programmatic issues and maintain execution timelines.
  • Identify programmatic risks, issues, and dependencies and support development and tracking of mitigation actions.
  • Support configuration and baseline management activities as required.
  • Prepare correspondence, meeting minutes, action-item trackers, and other program documentation.
  • Provide independent analysis and recommendations to support program leadership decision-making.
  • Support additional program management and acquisition activities as directed by the Government customer.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Program Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Required Experience:
  • 3+ years of relevant program management, acquisition, or program analyst experience.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or Department of the Navy acquisition programs.
  • Demonstrated experience using Acquisition Management System (AMS) and Program Management Tool (PMT).
  • Understanding of DoD acquisition processes and program management principles.
  • Experience developing and maintaining programmatic documentation, schedules, trackers, and briefing materials.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with Government and contractor personnel.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting PMA-207 or another Naval Aviation program office.
  • Familiarity with the DoD 5000-series acquisition lifecycle and associated documentation.
  • Experience with PPBE, funding execution, MIPRs, and contract management.
  • Experience supporting Milestone Reviews, Program Management Reviews, TEMs, and IPTs.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Power BI, or similar program management tools.
  • Experience developing executive-level briefings and program status reports.
  • Familiarity with Configuration Management and baseline management processes.
  • PMP certification or demonstrated progress toward PMP certification.
  • DAU acquisition or program management training.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $44,824.00-$117,649.90 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
