Full Job Description
Position Summary:

Perforce Software is looking for an Accounting Supervisor to lead a team through a period of rapid growth and international expansion. Specific areas of responsibility will include overseeing cash and payroll functions in the general ledger, such as domestic and international bank reconciliations, journal entry approval and general support of the monthly close process. This position will work closely with the Accounting Manager and the Controller as well as any other senior management to meet department and company goals. This position will also get broad exposure to the business by working very closely with the Sales Operations team.

Essential Functions:
• Provide leadership and direction to the team and encourage an attitude of continuous improvement in their day-to-day activities.
• Review and approve journal entries that cross-company and are in various currencies.
• Ensure account reconciliations are completed in a timely manner and are reviewed for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify areas of process improvement and work with the team on implementation.
• Work with the HR team to ensure proper accounting of all payroll-related transactions.
• Work closely with the Sales Operations team to identify unknown deposits and issue customer refunds.
• Understand and own the accounting side of the credit card processes including reconciliations.
• Assist as needed in acquisition-related activities including system and policy integration.
• Assist as needed in the annual external audit process, both domestic and foreign.

Required Education, Experience and Skills:
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience supervising a team and developing staff.
• Experience with multiple subsidiaries and foreign currencies transactions.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and the ability to interpret and implement new accounting guidance in an increasingly complex business environment.
• Operational experience with a major accounting system (such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, etc.).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and a CPA certification are preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can work effectively with people outside of the accounting functio.
• Experience in documenting and improving existing systems and processes.

AI Fluency:

Level 1: Basic AI User (Foundation): Uses approved AI tools to support daily work, writes basic prompts, and reviews outputs for accuracy while following security, privacy, and Responsible AI guidelines.

$90,800 - $115,300 a year

This position is eligible for our Annual Bonus Plan.
