Soni is partnering with a growing, established organization seeking an
Accounting Supervisor / Manager to take ownership of core accounting activities while helping strengthen financial reporting, planning, and visibility for leadership.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable working in the details while also supporting month-end close, financial statements, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, an entrepreneurial mindset, and wants room to grow.
Responsibilities:- Own and support the month-end close process
- Prepare financial statements and management reporting
- Handle journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and account review
- Analyze cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting
- Oversee and support day-to-day AP and AR activity
- Improve accounting processes, controls, reporting, and use of technology
- Partner with leadership on financial analysis and business decisions
- Work with external accounting partners on year-end and specialty matters
- Support special projects and future growth initiatives
Requirements:- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong month-end close and financial statement experience
- Solid journal entry, reconciliation, and general ledger background
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow analysis, or financial reporting
- Experience guiding or overseeing accounting, AP, or AR team members
- Strong Excel skills
- Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with strong follow-through
- Strong communication, judgment, and ability to work directly with leadership
Preferred Skills: - Experience in a growing, high-volume, or operationally focused business
- Small-to-mid-size company experience with broad accounting exposure
- Distribution, manufacturing, warehouse, automotive, or related industry experience
- Experience improving manual processes, reporting, or accounting systems
- Experience working with an outside CPA or external accounting firm
Compensation: $115,000 - $135,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
