OverviewIn this role, you will work closely with other teams and functions, including the External Reporting team, domestic and international divisional Control teams, as well as the Treasury function. You will have a positive impact through working collaboratively, identifying and implementing process improvements, and leveraging technology where possible. This is an opportunity to join a central team that has a key role in PepsiCo's internal reporting, including our monthly and periodic close procedures.
You will be responsible for the preparation of numerous consolidation entries, including inter/intercompany eliminations, tax allocations and revenue eliminations. You will also be responsible for maintaining the JV governance database and ensure accurate reporting as it relates to our investments, as well as to ensure the accurate reporting and disclosures surrounding the balance sheet and OCI statements, AOCL, long-lived assets, projected amortization and useful live of PPE footnotes with the 10Q/K, and its necessary analysis and SoX requirements.

Responsibilities- Preparation of Corporate Consolidation journal entries impacting the balance sheet, income statement and taxes.
- Preparation of inter/intracompany balance sheet eliminations, including analysis and review.
- Assisting sectors with inter/intracompany matching of transactions, and reviewing explanations for differences above defined thresholds.
- Preparation of quarterly and annual disclosures for 10-Q and 10-K reporting, including Statement of Other Comprehensive Income and Accumulated Other Comprehensive Income/Loss disclosures, useful life of PP&E and long-lived assets.
- Performing quarterly and annual balance sheet analysis and coordinating with each division to resolve unusual balances or variances (if necessary).
- Analysis, review, and elimination of intercompany investment activity.
- Reviewing joint venture information submitted by sectors for accuracy and completeness.
- Managing joint venture database by making updates as needed and maintaining access control list for the database as required by PepsiCo security protocols.
- Managing Hyperion Financial Data Management (FDM) load processes for balance sheet, treasury and intercompany data.
- Preparation of financial reports for the Treasury team, including topside analysis for amounts booked to cash accounts, based on input from the sectors.
- Independently working on various ad hoc reporting projects as they arise.
- Communicating with division control representatives on a regular basis regarding internal reporting requirements, timing submission results.
- Ensuring compliance with disclosure requirements for assigned areas and comparing peers segment reporting and benchmark purposes.
- Perform quarterly CoStar reconciliations and resolve variances between HFM and CoStar reporting.
Compensation and Benefits:- The expected compensation range for this position is between $88,200 - $147,650.

- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
- CPA required (candidates actively working towards certification with at least two sections passed already will be considered)
- 3+ years of accounting /auditing experience
- This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:- Public accounting experience with Big 4 firm
- Team player with ability to work with a wide variety of business partners (Sales, Finance, AR, Control etc.)
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong systems and reporting skills
