Job DescriptionIn this role, you'll act as the accounting and controls lead on cross-functional projects, partnering closely with business lines, IT, and project teams to design, test, and implement solutions with financial impact. You'll help define how transactions flow through systems into the general ledger, ensure appropriate controls are built in, and support testing, reporting, and early production efforts. The team is involved from initial concept through implementation and beyond, requiring strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex, evolving priorities across multiple projects at once.

How You'll Spend Your Time- Partner with business lines, IT, and project teams on initiatives with financial and accounting impact
- Define how transactions flow through systems and into the general ledger, ensuring proper structure, controls, and reporting
- Design and execute testing to validate accounting processes, data flows, and system functionality
- Document key decisions, requirements, and process flows to support implementation and long-term sustainability
- Communicate updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and accounting leadership
- Support implementation and early production activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting validation
- Balance multiple projects while identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance data integrity
Education & Experience RequirementsThis level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 8+ years related accounting experience in progressive accounting roles.
- Advanced understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
- Moderate working ability to research and understand technical accounting topics
- Excellent PC skills including spreadsheet, database, and word processing applications
- Effective communication skills to represent self and BOKF and to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional partnerships and build trust across disciplines
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and analyze complex interrelationships and dependencies to develop solutions
- Financial services industry experience strongly preferred
- CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred
- Project management skills & experience preferred
