About the Role:

Circular Services is seeking an experienced, full-time, and hands-on Accounting Manager for our dynamic, fast-growing organization. The Accounting Manager will have primary day-to-day responsibility for managing all financial-related activities of the Company's businesses. This position has the ability to be remote. This will support our organics and repurposing divisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting and Management: Lead financial statement preparation and accuracy.
  • Manage accounting staff to ensure timely, high-quality billing and reporting.
  • Analyze monthly results and provide actionable insights.
  • Process flow: Optimize process flows for billing, accounting, A/R, and A/P. Train staff and implement software solutions to enhance systems.
  • Oversee financial accounting and reporting systems, processes, and automation tools.
  • Management: Manage, develop, and mentor personnel in accounting, A/R, A/P, and payroll.
  • Ability to lead and coach the team.
  • Cash Flow and Risk Management: Update and monitor the Company's cash flow to ensure it is appropriate for existing operations and future projects.
  • Banking: Review the Company's banking operations and monitor covenant compliance.
  • Audit and Compliance: Support the Accounting dept. during the annual audit process.
  • Ensure the Company is up to date with regulations and GAAP standards.
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.


Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a senior financial or managerial role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Business Central / F&O D365), including other accounting software.
  • Manage consolidated financial statements, journal entries, and group accounting consolidations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing to a positive and productive work environment and maintaining professionalism in all interactions.


Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Earn or be pursuing a professional accounting designation (CPA).
  • Leverage technology to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Bring a positive, solution-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Support team development and mentorship, fostering growth and collaboration.
