Responsibilities

  • Own the fixed asset roadmap and modernize the full-cycle fixed asset management process
  • Lead and develop a team in a culture of accountability and continuous learning
  • Drive precise monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset roll forwards and optimize month-end close
  • Identify, design, and implement ERP system enhancements for improved transaction processing and controls
  • Design and rollout a fixed asset tagging process across multiple sites
  • Serve as a liaison for external auditors and manage fixed asset inquiries and documentation requests

About the Team:

The Accounting team at Relativity spans tax and compliance, financial operations, general ledger, and business data strategy. While each group brings unique insights, they are united by a shared goal of protecting the financial integrity of Relativity, while also enabling smarter, faster decisions to help the company scale. You'll collaborate deeply with teams across the business, ask the right questions, and become a trusted partner, not just a processor. With a focus on enabling growth, you'll bring both structure and creativity to a highly dynamic environment.

About the Role:
  • Own the fixed asset roadmap - driving cross-functional initiatives that elevate and modernize the full-cycle fixed asset management process
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning by leading and developing a team in a rapidly changing, high-growth environment.
  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset roll forwards with precision and insight, while optimizing processes to accelerate month-end close
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to identify, design, and implement ERP system enhancements that improve transaction processing, strengthen internal controls, and enable scalable business operations.
  • Partner cross-functionally to design and roll out a fixed asset tagging process across 3 sites, shaping a process from the ground up
  • Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors - fielding fixed asset inquiries and documentation requests - while showcasing your expertise and building trusted relationships

About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of professional accounting experience
  • Fast-growing start-ups and/or manufacturing industry experience
  • Direct management experience with strong communication, financial data analysis skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Focused on continuous improvement and process enhancement
  • Advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.)

Nice to haves but not required:
  • Big 4/regional firm audit/assurance experience (strongly preferred)
  • Certified Public Accounting (CPA), active or inactive
  • Technical understanding of fixed asset accounting under GAAP
  • Infor LN ERP specific experience
