We are currentlyseekingadriven, detail-orientedAccountingManagerto join ourgrowingFinance team atOntic, a high-growth, highly diversified global aerospace manufacturer.You will report to the Finance Director and will have an onsite work structure in Miramar, FL.

TheAccountingManager isa key partner to Finance and broader business, responsible for ensuringaccuratefinancial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting operations. This ishighvisibility, high impact role with significant opportunity for growth within the organization. The accounting Manageris responsible forleading all general accounting, financialcloseand statutory reporting for the site. This role partners closely with FP26A, Tax, Operations, and Global Finance to ensure financial integrity, compliance, andtimelyreporting while supporting business decision-making.

  • Bachelordegree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 5+ years of analyst experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field, preferably with experience at a Big 4 accounting firm
  • CPA certification
  • Superior interpersonal communication skills, ability to work well in a team environment as well as stand out from the crowd when needed
  • Excellent presentation skills with ability to distill and explain complex data simply and concisely
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or aerospace company

As an AccountingManager, you will:

  • Partner withFinance leadership and Operation teams to ensureaccuratefinancial reporting and strong accounting practices
  • Provideclear,timelyfinancial information and insights to support management decision-making
  • Own and manage day-to-day accounting activities for the site. Activities include:
  • Lead,mentorand develop accountingstaff;support professional growth and succession planning
  • Oversee monthly,quarterlyand annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
  • Keep the team on track for a 3-day close
  • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, andsupportingschedules; ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies
  • Own balance sheet integrity, including cash, AR, AP inventory, fixed assets, accruals,reservesand intercompany accounts
  • Prepare and review supporting schedules; provide variance analysis and narrative explanations to management
  • Interface with Group Finance on consolidation, intercompany accounting, and corporate reporting requirements
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls;identifyand remediate control gaps
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function, including process standardization, automation, and system enhancements
  • Partner with FP26A to support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis throughaccurateandtimelyfinancial data
  • Assistwith special projects, includingintegrations, systemimplementationsand process transformations
  • Ad hoc requests and reporting.
