Accounting Manager • Consulting
NOW CFO | Los Angeles, CA (Burbank)

About the Role
NOW CFO is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team as a consultant in the Los Angeles market. The initial engagement is a full-time, fully onsite commitment with a client located in Burbank, CA beginning immediately. Upon completion of the first engagement, the consultant will transition to a hybrid schedule with continued client work.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including month-end and year-end close
  • Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
  • Multi-entity accounting experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA a plus
  • Ability to work fully onsite in Burbank, CA for the initial engagement
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment

Compensation
$100,000 • $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Schedule
Full-time onsite in Burbank, CA for the first engagement. Hybrid schedule available following initial placement.
