Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing corporate and international accounting functions while leading a team of three Staff Accountants. This role manages key accounting processes, including month-end close, intercompany accounting, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support. The Accounting Manager partners with internal stakeholders and external auditors, provides guidance on complex accounting transactions, and drives process improvements through automation and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Supervision of 3 Staff Accountants
- Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including corporate accounting, international accounting
- Assist in accounting for new and/or complex transactions
- Work with the internal team and external auditors for year-end financial audit activities
- Own process flows for corporate accounting processes, actively working to improve them
- Assist in enhancing practices through automation and/or artificial intelligence
- Ad-hoc analysis and journal entries
- Preparation and/or review of account reconciliations
- Month-end analysis and entries, primarily in a review capacity
- Monthly intercompany accounting and analysis
- Manage the month-end close process across multiple departments
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong understanding of accounting and US GAAP
- Manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Required Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- MBA preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
