Full Job Description
Play a pivotal role building the accounting function for Beast Industries' newest business lines; owning GAAP-compliant reporting, subscription revenue operations, and scalable financial processes for businesses growing from launch to scale. The Role The Accounting Manager, Growth Ventures, will own the books for a portfolio of early-stage digital ventures - including membership and subscription products, SaaS analytics, and creator platform businesses - as these ventures mature from startup mode into audit-ready operations. This role is a unique blend of hands-on close ownership and zero-to-one process building. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator with a strong technical foundation and a builder mentality who is energized by being the first dedicated accountant a business has ever had. What You'll Do • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for each emerging entity • Build entity-level reporting and reconciliations that integrate into the consolidated close • Design right-sized processes, controls, and documentation for each business, maturing them as entities approach audit scope • Support external audit deliverables as entities enter scope, including PBC preparation and walkthrough support • Own NetSuite setup and optimization for emerging entities, driving automation of billing data flows and recurring entries • Identify financial risks and opportunities early, escalating with recommended solutions • Contribute to ad hoc projects and analyses as new ventures launch and the portfolio evolves What You'll Bring • 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including subscription, SaaS, or platform business models • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • CPA required • Working knowledge of ASC 606, including deferred revenue and multi-element arrangements • A mix of Big 4 public accounting and industry experience is highly desirable • A builder mentality with startup-to-scale instincts • Multi-entity experience; NetSuite or a comparable ERP preferred • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance business leaders • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environment The target total compensation ranges from $172,500 - $195,500 including a fixed annual salary of $150,000 - $170,000, an employee equity plan grant, bonus, plus comprehensive benefits. Equity grants are issued in good faith, subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.
