Full Job Description
The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role will manage core accounting processes, maintain internal controls, and support strategic financial decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise a proactive approach to process improvement.

You will be joining Confido at an inflection point where your work will directly shape our path to market leadership. As the company scales, you'll have the opportunity to leave an outsized impact and grow with the business.

What You'll Do

Core Accounting & Financial Operations
  • Own day-to-day accounting: general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense management.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accurate, timely financial statements.
  • Maintain financial records and prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Own both A/P and A/R processes.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable accounting standards.


Financial Infrastructure & Process Development
  • Design and implement accounting processes, internal controls, and financial policies appropriate for a scaling startup.
  • Evaluate and optimize accounting systems and tools; we're open to building on what works best.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting by providing accurate financial data and variance analysis.
  • Track key financial metrics and help leadership understand performance against plan.


Cross-Functional & External Coordination
  • Partner with leadership and operations teams to align financial processes with business reality.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory partners for audits, filings, and compliance.
  • Support investor reporting and fundraising diligence as we continue to grow.


What You'll Need
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • CPA or equivalent certification
  • Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Hands-on experience with accounting and ERP systems; familiarity with CPG-adjacent software is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a builder's mindset-this role has real greenfield scope


Nice to Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Prior public accounting or Big Four experience
  • Experience at a high-growth or venture-backed startup
  • Experience with Quickbooks to Netsuite or other ERP migrations
  • Experience supporting audits, investor reporting, or fundraising diligence
