Overview:

Elevate your career with CHAGEE as an Accounting Manager.

What you'll do:
  • Lead month-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations and review of journal entries for accuracy and completeness
  • Oversee intercompany transactions (purchases, billings, reconciliations) and perform deep-dive variance analysis on revenue and COGS
  • Manage sales/use tax filings and business property tax (571-L) to ensure timely and compliant reporting
  • Review and approve credit card transactions, employee reimbursements, and vendor payments for accuracy and policy compliance
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to enforce financial policies, improve processes, and drive accountability
  • Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
  • Support Controller and Head of Finance with ad hoc analysis, audits, and strategic initiatives

Experience you need to be successful:
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with hands-on experience in multi-entity environments
  • Strong expertise in balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close processes
  • Experience supporting or accounting for construction project
  • Solid understanding of lease accounting under ASC 842
  • Proven ability to execute and enforce SOPs and internal controls
  • Experience with systems such as NetSuite, Ramp, and Square (or similar platforms) preferred
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

The estimated total cash compensation for this position is $80,400-$120,600, inclusive of base salary and estimated bonus.
