Job SummaryThis position is responsible for analyzing, preparing, and processing accounting transactions. Researches and applies accounting guidance, documents technical conclusions and policies, and supports financial statement preparation and management reporting. Serves as a key liaison between internal finance teams and external auditors during audits, ensuring timely and accurate coordination.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:- Record journal entries, perform monthly reconciliations, and support month-end close to ensure accurate financial reporting; execute internal controls to mitigate risk.
- Compile, analyze, and communicate financial results for management and regulatory reporting; maintain effective reporting controls.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues, improve processes, and drive automation; support projects and perform ad hoc financial analysis.
- Coordinate annual audits by managing auditor requests and gathering required documentation; act as primary liaison between auditors and finance.
- Research and implement accounting guidance (U.S. GAAP, IFRS, Statutory Accounting Principles); document conclusions and serve as a technical accounting resource.
Skills and Background You'll Need- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial results preparation and analysis, or equivalent education/experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Workday preferred.
- Professional certification preferred (CPA, CMA, or MBA).

The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.
Salary Range:
$76,250.00 - $111,500.00
