Full Job Description
Currently, we are seeking a qualified Accountant - Internal Auditor to work collaboratively with our accounting, finance, and other operational functions. This position is not remote and will be based from our main office in Anderson, California .

About the Position
  • Lead integrated business process, financial, and operational audits to ensure that appropriate internal control measures are followed
  • Conduct special reviews, projects, and investigations, as requested
  • Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Summarize audit results and make recommendations to management
  • Oversight and management of the annual Company-wide external financial statement audit and chain-of-custody audit
  • Perform accounting standards research, analysis, and effective planning
  • Provide support and financial analysis, as needed, for special projects
  • Multi-task and adapt to changing priorities while staying organized and meeting expected deadlines
  • Additional financial and accounting related tasks
  • Occasional travel to other divisions/locations

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or significantly related field required - CPA a plus
  • 5 years' progressive work experience in accounting
  • Preference given for experience in manufacturing and/or financial reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational, mathematical, and analytical skills with ability to effectively resolve problems
  • Skilled in leadership and communication
  • Willingness to take on increasing responsibilities
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • Understand appropriate discretion with confidential Company information
  • Professional demeanor, with ability to work in a team environment
