Account Representative - Specialty Resins

Location: Pasadena, TX
Travel: Approximately 50% (after training)

What You'll Do

As an Account Representative, you'll be responsible for supporting and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities for future growth.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Manage and develop relationships with existing customer accounts and distribution partners
  • Support a portfolio of small-to-medium-sized accounts generating significant annual revenue
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with Technical Service and R&D teams to support new products and emerging markets
  • Provide customers with technical information, product updates, and responsive support
  • Negotiate pricing adjustments and maintain customer agreements
  • Maintain customer data, opportunities, and market intelligence within Salesforce
  • Prepare sales forecasts and communicate customer needs to internal stakeholders
  • Participate in customer visits, industry events, and trade shows
  • Assist in resolving customer issues related to product availability, service, and account management
  • Develop knowledge of competitive products, industry trends, and market developments

This role is designed to set you up for long-term success.

During your first several months, you'll focus on learning our products, customers, and business operations while working alongside experienced commercial and technical professionals. After training, you'll begin traveling with senior sales team members and gradually assume greater responsibility for customer relationships.

Our goal is to develop future commercial leaders who understand both the technical and business aspects of our industry.

Industry experience is not required-we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong potential, curiosity, and a desire to learn.

Travel & Work Environment
  • Approximately 50% travel following initial training
  • Primarily domestic travel with occasional international opportunities
  • Collaborative team environment with significant opportunities for professional growth


The salary range for this position is $95,000-$120,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
