Job DescriptionThe Account Operations manager plays a critical role in supporting the overall health, growth, and operational effectiveness of the Ford account. This individual partners closely with the Client Partner, Delivery Partner, and account leadership team to ensure accurate reporting, pipeline management, pursuit governance, sales operations, and contract administration activities are executed efficiently.
The role serves as the operational backbone of the account, providing visibility into account performance, supporting business development activities, maintaining key systems of record, and helping drive disciplined account management processes.
ResponsibilitiesAccount Reporting & Business Operations- Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly account reporting packages.
- Track account financials, pipeline, bookings, revenue, backlog, and resource utilization metrics.
- Prepare executive-level reporting, dashboards, and leadership presentations.
- Monitor account performance KPIs and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support quarterly business reviews, account planning sessions, and leadership meetings.
Salesforce Management- Maintain accurate account, opportunity, project, and customer information within Salesforce.
- Ensure pursuit, pipeline, and forecast data is current and aligned with account leadership expectations.
- Support data quality efforts and process compliance across account systems.
- Create and distribute reports and dashboards for sales and delivery leadership.
Pursuit & Pipeline Management- Coordinate pursuit tracking from qualification through proposal submission and contract execution.
- Maintain pursuit calendars, milestones, deadlines, and action plans.
- Facilitate collaboration between sales, client partners, delivery leaders, solution architects, and supporting practices.
- Monitor pursuit status and provide regular updates to account leadership.
- Assist with proposal development activities, content collection, approvals, and submission readiness.
SOW & Change Request Management- Coordinate Statement of Work (SOW) development and approval processes.
- Track contract modifications, amendments, and project change requests.
- Manage change request workflows and documentation between client and delivery teams.
- Maintain repositories of executed contracts, SOWs, purchase orders, and change requests.
Account Governance & Coordination- Support account leadership in driving governance processes and operational discipline.
- Track action items, risks, decisions, and commitments from leadership meetings.
- Coordinate account planning activities and follow-up actions.
- Assist with resource planning, onboarding coordination, and account communications.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among sales, delivery, finance, and operations teams.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7-10 years of project management and/or business operations experience, ideally at Senior Project Manager level or above.
- Experience working with Salesforce CRM and reporting tools.
- Experience with Jira or other project tracking platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience on a large, strategic account with a formal client VMO relationship.
- Familiarity with Oracle, PowerBI, MS Excel, MS Office, and time entry/forecast approval workflows.
- Experience in Automotive & Industrials or a comparable strategic account environment.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $105,000 to $150000.
