Overview

Start your day by reviewing and responding to customer inquiries, while updating opportunities and activity in Salesforce to keep your pipeline current. From there, you’ll head into the field to meet with research labs and customers across North Texas, OK, MS and North LA to advance opportunities, increase consumables usage, and deepen relationships.

Throughout the day, you’ll identify and pursue new business opportunities, proactively prospecting to expand your territory. You’ll also collaborate closely with Account Executives and Field Application Specialists to ensure customers receive the technical expertise and support they need at every stage of the sales cycle.

No two days are the same, your ability to balance customer engagement, strategic selling, and cross-functional teamwork will be key to driving success.

How You’ll Make An Impact:

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive adoption of Bio-Rad’s Genomics and Proteomics solutions including ddPCR, qPCR, Imaging, Western Blot and Chromatography workflows to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Engage directly with academic customers through regular on-site visits to advance active opportunities. You will demonstrate, sell and support customers on Bio-Rad’s diverse line of consumables and small equipment.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales funnel by identifying, nurturing, and growing opportunities, with consistent CRM updates and accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Executives, Field Application Specialists, and Marketing to expand Bio-Rad’s footprint and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle and in their ongoing partnership with Bio-Rad.
  • Maintain strong communication and technical fluency, including product knowledge, demonstration skills, and timely reporting to leadership on activities, trends, and customer needs.

What You Bring:

  • Education: BA/BS in a life science discipline required; MS or PhD strongly preferred.
  • Work Experience: 3 6 years of sales or relevant research experience in the life sciences sector, ideally focused on Genomics and/or Proteomics consumable workflows; experience with academic and government accounts is a plus.
  • Strong fluency in molecular biology, gene expression, protein analysis, and related workflows.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to present complex information clearly and build lasting customer relationships.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred) and Microsoft Office, with strong analytical, organizational, and territory management capabilities.

Location: This position covers the North Texas region. The individual must live within a geography that allows them to visit customers on-site on a daily basis.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $86,600 to $119,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
