Full Job Description
Account Manager to drive growth of our savory category across the Eastern U.S. territory. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with experience selling savory flavors who brings strong industry connections and thrives on building new ones-confidently opening doors, winning new business, and expanding existing accounts.

The Account Manager partners closely with customers, internal teams, cross-functional departments, senior management, and MANE affiliates to deliver impactful solutions. Key competencies include project and time management, professionalism and leadership, communication and presentation skills, customer relationship building, self-management, and adaptability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sell company's products and services by calling on prospective and established customers.
  • Write, develop, and present strategic account strategies to include all necessary information that will accelerate new business and grow the company.
  • Develop sales based on existing and new contacts.
  • Meet sales goal targets.
  • Determine priority and effort given to each account based on sales potential and strategy.
  • Maintain sales programs and keep customers informed about available services, prices and new products.
  • Leverage internal relationships and competencies with customers to achieve account and territory growth.
  • Be expert in knowing and understanding the business needs, products, and people of target accounts to best execute account strategies.
  • Write measurable yearly goals and objectives that are aligned with senior management G&O.
  • Represent Mane at related industry and associated meetings.
  • Monitor competitive activity.
  • Handle special tasks and projects as requested in order to meet company objectives.
  • Coordinate efforts with Mane affiliates as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree required with MBA or advanced technical degree desired.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience with knowledge of selling techniques and / or strong technical/product development experience with technical support/sales experience.
  • Ability to close sales with at least 1 year of experience in the flavor or seasoning industry desired.
  • Working knowledge of flavors and/or food ingredients.
  • Computer literate.
