Account Management Lead Associate

(Reports to Account Management, Manager)

Join Accredo as an Account Management Lead Associate, where you will help deliver a strong customer experience for payers, prescribers, referral sources, and patients. In this role, you will manage day-to-day client relationships, coordinate service delivery, support implementations, and use performance insights to strengthen client satisfaction, retention, and growth.

Responsibilities
•    Manage daily customer relationships by applying strong knowledge of client benefit plans and Accredo product offerings.
•    Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and referral sources, responding to inquiries, urgent requests, and escalated issues with clear follow-through.
•    Provide proactive consultation, analysis, and issue resolution related to Accredo core services and client needs.
•    Execute client benefit requests accurately and on time, including benefit changes, product upsells, new groups, terminations, and escalations.
•    Lead new group and product implementations by coordinating internal meetings, timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder alignment.
•    Facilitate customer-centered team meetings to review operational performance and align service delivery with client expectations.
•    Present Accredo services and performance metrics to customers to support satisfaction, retention, and growth opportunities.
•    Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve client issues, support prior authorization needs, and ensure core service delivery.
•    Partner with management and team members on strategic sales, marketing, and account management initiatives.
•    Build trusted relationships with customers and referral sources to support decision-making, service adoption, and long-term account health.

Required Qualifications
•    Current residency in Honolulu, HI.
•    Minimum 3–5 years of experience in account management, client service, healthcare operations, or a related customer-facing role.
•    Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to resolve complex issues across teams.
•    Demonstrated ability to manage projects, timelines, and client expectations using structured processes.
•    Strong customer focus with demonstrated commitment to client satisfaction and retention.
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and internet-based applications.
•    Ability to travel overnight up to 20% based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred, not required).
•    Experience working with specialty pharmacy, healthcare benefits, or payer relationships.
•    Experience supporting implementations, prior authorization workflows, or referral-source relationships.
•    Experience contributing to sales growth, upsell opportunities, or strategic account initiatives.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 75,200 - 125,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
