Location

Our Account Executive can operate remotely in the United States OR Canada OR be based out of one of our North America office locations: Charlottesville, VA, Boston, MA, Columbus, OH, Durham, NC, Toronto, ON, or Vancouver, BC.

The Opportunity

As an Account Executive, you will own new business development and account expansion across the Canadian market, driving growth and increasing market share within various industry verticals. You will partner closely with our largest strategic clients and the Customer Relationship Partner (CRP) team to identify, shape, and close complex, high-value opportunities while accelerating the adoption of new services.

This role sits within TELUS Digital - Badal, a boutique Google Cloud Platform (GCP) consulting and services business. Badal partners with Google Cloud's most sophisticated customers across Financial Services, Telco, Energy, Retail, and other industries to deliver transformative outcomes in cloud modernization, security, data & analytics, machine learning, and data governance.

You will act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders, guiding organizations through cloud-enabled transformation and positioning TELUS Digital Badal as a long-term strategic partner.

Responsibilities
  • Own and grow client accounts in various industry verticals by identifying net-new opportunities and expanding existing relationships, consistently delivering against multi-million-dollar revenue targets.
  • Drive adoption and expansion of Google Cloud solutions, ensuring customers realize measurable business value from TELUS Digital Badal's offerings.
  • Co-create customer success plans by partnering with clients to define objectives, success metrics, milestones, risks, and governance models.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships (C-suite, CIO/CTO, CDO, CISO), developing a deep understanding of client strategy, regulatory constraints, and industry dynamics.
  • Develop strategic cloud and data roadmaps aligned to business priorities, regulatory requirements, and long-term transformation goals.
  • Guide organizations through change, helping leaders align people, processes, and technology to unlock the full value of cloud adoption.
  • Collaborate across TELUS and partner ecosystems, including Google Cloud and system integrators, to deliver integrated, outcome-driven solutions.
  • Lead complex deal cycles, from opportunity qualification and value articulation through negotiation and close.


Competencies
  • Proven success in enterprise digital sales within Google Cloud, with a consistent track record of exceeding multi-million-dollar targets.
  • Deep experience leading client enterprises through transformation from legacy, on-premise environments to secure, scalable public cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data center migration strategies, cloud modernization approaches, and collaboration with channel partners and system integrators.
  • Demonstrated ability to quantify business value, helping customers evaluate investments based on ROI, risk, and regulatory considerations.
  • Solid knowledge of the Google Cloud ecosystem, including data, analytics, AI/ML, security, and governance capabilities.
  • Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to manage CXO relationships and align solutions to leadership agendas.
  • Ability to co-create transformation narratives, articulate innovation strategies, and mobilize the right teams to deliver outcomes.
  • Established credibility as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders through deep industry knowledge and consultative engagement.
