Your Impact on our Mission

Zocdoc's most important asset is our people. As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you will own a territory of Mid-Market clients and grow it by generating new business, not by waiting on renewals. You run a consultative, problem-first motion at velocity: opening with sharp, quantified discovery, building urgency around the cost of inaction, and asking for the business with a clear, time-bound close. You work the entire territory - including the long tail of smaller accounts with potential, maintaining real operating discipline, keeping pipeline coverage and CRM hygiene current every week. Working closely with internal teams, you make sure your clients are set up for success and growing on our platform.

You'll enjoy this role if you...
  • Enjoy owning your own book and generating your own pipeline: you create demand, you don't wait for it
  • Thrive on velocity: working many accounts at once and moving deals quickly
  • Excel at fast, consultative conversations that get to the customer's business problem in efficiently
  • Leverage data to quantify a problem and turn it into an actionable insight that moves a deal
  • Get satisfaction from asking for the business and closing, not just fielding requests
  • Have an interest in healthcare or consumer technology
  • Are motivated by clear metrics and targets

Your day to day is...
  • Self-sourcing and building pipeline across your full territory through disciplined weekly prospecting
  • Running fast, consultative discovery that gets the customer to put a number on the cost of not solving a problem, then tying our value to that number
  • Diagnosing and quantifying before prescribing, framing value differently for the practice owner versus the office manager
  • Qualifying and driving deals with a real methodology (e.g., MEDDPICC), creating urgency, handling objections, and closing within your target deal-size range
  • Keeping pipeline coverage, risks, and next steps current in the CRM, and forecasting accurately
  • Prioritizing by revenue potential and client readiness, and reallocating effort to coverage gaps across the territory
  • Using available tools and internal partners to progress routine deals and self-serve on problems
  • Ending every interaction with a clear next step and a time-bound ask

You'll be successful in this role if you have...
  • 3-5 years of full-cycle SMB or Mid-Market selling, carrying and hitting a new-business or expansion number (not a renewals/retention-only book)
  • A track record of self-generated pipeline: prospecting, outbound, and territory planning, not just managing an inherited book
  • Comfort operating at high volume, working many accounts at once without letting hygiene or follow-through slip
  • Exposure to a value/solution-selling and qualification methodology (MEDDPICC strongly preferred)
  • The ability to build a quick, credible business case that quantifies value in the customer's own economics
  • Experience with a CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and comfort with Google Workspace
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills

Benefits

  • Unlimited Vacation
  • 100% paid employee health benefit options (including medical, dental, and vision)
  • Commuter Benefits
  • 401(k) with employer funded match
  • Corporate wellness programs through Wellhub
  • Sabbatical leave (for employees with 5+ years of service)
  • Competitive paid parental leave and fertility/family planning reimbursement
  • Cell phone reimbursement
  • Employee Resource Groups and ZocClubs to promote shared community and belonging
  • Great Place to Work Certified
