Job Description:ACCOUNT EXECUTIVEGENERAL SUMMARYOur Account Executives manage client relationships and ensure we deliver best-in-class service for our meeting and event clients. As the primary relationship owners, our Account Executives ask great questions and identify opportunities that position our meeting and events team to deliver creative, impactful solutions in support of client retention, growth and success. They develop and deliver a strategic vision for our client programs and possess exceptional relationship and business development skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSBuild Client Relationships - Onboard new accounts and projects in a manner that delights clients.
- Serve as the primary client contact, inspiring trust by ensuring regular communication, excellent customer service, and timely follow-up.
- Consult with clients to understand their business objectives, event goals, budget, and other requirements.
- Develop event proposals, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with clients and the event planning team.
- Be the client's advocate within Etherio, ensuring we deliver exceptional sourcing, meetings, events and services that align with the clients' priorities, budget and objectives.
- Regularly seek, share, and act on client feedback to support innovation and continual improvement.
Manage Accounts - Work with leadership to assign team members and tasks to projects.
- Facilitate the development of and execution against contracts and statements of work with clients and the Etherio team, tracking and being attentive to scope creep.
- Lead contingency and disruption planning.
- Conduct quarterly reviews and strategy sessions with all clients.
- Track cost savings realized by Etherio for final reporting.
- Coordinate project wrap-up documentation and debriefs.
- Conduct final review of client project files to ensure historical tracking.
- Assess project profitability.
- Maintain client records in our CRM system.
- Ensure the accuracy of invoices, manage invoice delivery, and follow-up on past-due invoices.
Grow Accounts - Work with leadership to assign team members and tasks to projects.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration or a related field
- Experience with third party/ meeting planning agency
- 10+ years of meeting management experience (CMP or CMM designation preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience in account management, sales, or related field
- Strategic decision-making ability
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong project and team management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven track record of successful client relationship management and event execution
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed

WORKPLACE LOCATION REQUIREMENTSWe operate as a Hybrid work environment, working as a combination of remote and in-office presence, as well as the possibility of being onsite at client and/or event locations.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSAbility to travel at least 25%.
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTSRequires flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends to meet client, event, or company needs.
