Full Job Description
Client Services Account Director, Arts & Attractions

We9re looking for a strategic Account Director who thrives at the intersection of client leadership, integrated marketing, and performance-driven execution.

This is not a 4manage from above4 role. We9re seeking a collaborative, hands-on leader who can confidently guide a room full of senior stakeholders, build trusted client relationships, and stay deeply involved in the details of campaign planning, execution, and optimization.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable discussing high-level business strategy and granular digital performance metrics. They know how to move work forward in a fast-paced environment, inspire internal teams, navigate complexity, and help drive both client growth and new business opportunities.

WHAT YOU9LL DO (IN BRIEF):

Lead high-profile client relationships

Serve as a senior strategic partner to attractions and destination clients, building trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders while confidently leading conversations around strategy, media investment, campaign performance, and business objectives.

Drive integrated campaign leadership

Oversee complex, cross-platform campaigns from strategy through execution, partnering closely with Media, Creative, Business Intelligence, and Production teams to ensure work is smart, seamless, and effective.

Be deeply fluent in digital performance and driving revenue

Translate campaign data into actionable business insights. You should be comfortable discussing media KPIs, audience targeting, attribution, optimization strategy, pacing, and performance trends at both a strategic and tactical level. Your ultimate goal is to help our clients drive revenue and meet their goals.

Operate as a hands-on team leader

This role requires someone who is willing to dive into the details - reviewing plans, troubleshooting challenges, managing timelines, building presentations and helping teams solve problems in real time when needed.

Lead with confidence and collaboration

Guide internal teams with clarity, accountability, and positivity. We value leaders who elevate the work, remain solutions-oriented under pressure, and foster a highly collaborative, low-ego culture.

Help grow the business

Play an active role in identifying organic growth opportunities, contributing to pitches and new business initiatives, and helping AKA continue expanding its presence across the attractions, destinations, and cultural sectors.

WHO WE9RE LOOKING FOR:
  • 5 + years of senior level experience in advertising, media, marketing, or client services, ideally within tourism, destinations, entertainment, or hospitality.
  • A strong understanding of integrated marketing with deep fluency across digital media channels and performance marketing
  • Comfortable discussing campaign performance metrics, optimization strategies, audience behavior, and media effectiveness in detail with both clients and internal teams
  • A confident communicator and presenter who can command a room, navigate challenging conversations, and build credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Highly collaborative with a team-first mindset and a willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed
  • Equal parts strategic thinker and operational doer - able to zoom out to see the big picture while staying close to execution
  • Calm, adaptable, and solutions-oriented in fast-moving environments with shifting priorities
  • Entrepreneurial and growth-minded, with enthusiasm for contributing to new business opportunities and agency growth
  • Someone who values curiosity, accountability, kindness, and collaboration.

WHAT WE OFFER:
The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $100,000 to $125,000 per year.

The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate9s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and years of experience. A discretionary bonus may be provided as part of the total compensation package. AKA also offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and balance, including:
  • Comprehensive healthcare & dental: 100% employer-paid for employees
  • Generous PTO policy plus 2-day Summer Fridays to make the most of sunny days

  • Continuous growth & learning: Annual Training & Development fund to sharpen your skills
  • Financial wellness perks: Student loan repayment or tuition assistance based on tenure
  • Paid parental leave: Up to 12 weeks to support growing families
  • Sabbatical opportunities: Recharge and return inspired with paid time off for long-term employees
  • A pet-friendly office: because great ideas come with great company
