Description
The Academic Personnel Supervisor provides leadership and oversight for academic and staff personnel operations across 11 departments within the Basic Science Human Resources Cluster. Supervising a team of HR professionals, the incumbent manages a broad range of personnel functions, including academic recruitment, advancement, separation, dossier management, leave administration, employee relations, payroll, benefits, credentialing, privileging, visa processing, and special licensing programs.
Serving as a trusted advisor to departmental leadership, the Academic Personnel Supervisor applies in-depth knowledge of academic personnel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with University of California, UCLA, David Geffen School of Medicine (DGSOM), and departmental requirements. The role partners closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality HR services, support faculty and staff success, and promote effective, compliant personnel practices across the cluster.
Salary: $8,183.33 - $17,883.33 monthly
