Job Description

The Department of Anesthesiology is seeking candidates with the expertise, interests, and qualifications to join one of three following teams of anesthesia professionals:
• General Anesthesiology (regional anesthesia experience a plus)
• Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Cardiovascular Anesthesiology

Anesthesiologists provide anesthesia care via medical direction with residents and CRNAs. Additional duties include performing classroom and/or clinical instruction to residents and medical students.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: MD/DO, ABA Board Certified in Anesthesiology

Candidates will be evaluated on: experience in general and regional anesthesia for adult patients or anesthesia in outpatient surgery centers. Prior background and experience in academic medicine not required. A Missouri license will be required to be credentialed with MU Health Care prior to start date.
