ERP Project

Job Description

The University of Missouri System is seeking three ERP Project Managers to support a strategic, enterprise-wide ERP implementation. This transformational initiative will modernize and integrate core business systems across HR, Finance, and administrative operations, improving processes, data access, and user experience throughout the University.

Workstream Planning and Execution (35%)
• Develop, maintain, and administer detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables for the assigned workstream.
• Coordinate planning activities within the assigned HR, Finance, or Technical workstream and with related program teams.
• Facilitate planning sessions to identify dependencies, resource requirements, and critical path activities.
• Monitor workstream progress and support completion of deliverables according to approved timelines and scope.
• Maintain project management tools, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms for the assigned workstream.
• Support phase transitions across Readiness, Plan, Architect & Configure, Test, Deploy, and Sustain phases.

Workstream Monitoring and Governance (20%)
• Monitor workstream status, key performance indicators, milestones, and resource utilization.
• Prepare workstream status updates and governance materials in coordination with the Workstream Lead and PMO.
• Facilitate risk, action, issue, and dependency (RAID) management processes for the assigned workstream.
• Maintain workstream governance logs and tracking documentation.
• Escalate issues and decision points to the Workstream Lead through appropriate governance channels.
• Support compliance with established program governance standards and decision-making processes.

Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement (20%)
• Partner with the Workstream Lead to coordinate activities among team members, subject matter experts, implementation partners, and related program teams.
• Facilitate recurring workstream meetings, planning sessions, and status reviews.
• Monitor dependencies between the assigned workstream and other ERP workstreams and support timely issue resolution.
• Coordinate implementation partner activities with internal project participants.
• Ensure consistent and timely communication across workstream stakeholders.
• Provide project coordination, onboarding support, and work prioritization assistance as directed by the Workstream Lead, without supervisory responsibility.
Risk, Issue, and Change Management (15%)
• Maintain workstream risk and issue registers.
• Facilitate RAID review meetings and mitigation planning activities.
• Track action items, owners, and due dates and follow up to support timely resolution.
• Support project change control processes and documentation.
• Communicate emerging risks, impacts, and recommended actions to the Workstream Lead and PMO.

Resource and Administrative Coordination (5%)
• Support workstream resource planning and staffing coordination activities.
• Maintain visibility into workstream role assignments, capacity concerns, coverage needs, and staffing dependencies.
• Support documentation and reporting related to resource availability and staffing risks.
• Escalate resource constraints or staffing gaps to the Workstream Lead.

Continuous Improvement and Other Duties (5%)
• Recommend improvements to project management standards, methodologies, and tools.
• Contribute to the development and consistent use of PMO processes and reporting frameworks.
• Document lessons learned and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, and five years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience managing ERP, HRIS, Finance, or enterprise technology implementations.
• Experience in higher education, healthcare, or public-sector environments.
• Experience with Workday, Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, or similar enterprise systems.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Agile, Scrum, or related project management certification.
• Experience working within a PMO environment.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 annually

Grade: GGS-12
