ABL Underwriting Portfolio Manager is responsible for underwriting new business opportunities and managing an existing portfolio of credit relationships. This role is expected to liaise between all parties to ensure timely and efficient analysis that meets the expectations of the Borrowers, Lenders and Administration Team.

What You'll Do- Manage an assigned asset-based portfolio of commercial customers
- Structure and underwrite asset-based loan transactions ($5MM - $100MM aggregate credit exposure) for existing portfolio customers and new business transactions
- Coordinate the collection and review of financial statements, compliance certificates, and collateral reports to comply with customers' reporting requirements
- Assist in review and negotiation of loan documentation in consultation with legal counsel and ensure deals are closed properly
- Serve as contact for, provide support of and responses to internal audits, loan review, compliance reviews and regulatory exams for the bank as needed
- Comply with all bank policies and procedures as well as applicable state and federal regulations
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a business, finance, economics, or accounting major (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of Middle Market Asset-Based / Commercial Banking experience preferred; ($25MM - $250MM+ company revenue, $5MM - $50MM aggregate credit exposure)
- Thorough understanding of general credit and risk principles as it applies to asset-based lending
- Working knowledge of MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial forecast models including 13-week cashflows
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to manage tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability establishing client relationships and working within a team environment

CompensationThe estimated salary range for this role is $71,000-$92,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
