Position Overview

This position provides advanced systems administration, cybersecurity, and information assurance support for highly classified Department of Defense environments, ensuring the security, availability, and compliance of mission-critical information systems supporting Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in secure systems administration, Risk Management Framework (RMF), cybersecurity compliance, and supporting classified network environments.

Salary

$123,637.65 annually

Minimum Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
  • Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
  • 5-7 years of related Information Technology or Information Assurance experience
  • Prior experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or Information Technology/Information Assurance Specialist
  • Previous Special Access Program (SAP) experience is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Must obtain or possess certification meeting DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level I (or IAT Level II equivalent) requirements within six months of hire


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense Special Access Programs
  • Experience supporting SCI environments
  • Experience with Cross Domain Solutions (PL3/PL4)

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain secure information systems supporting classified DoD programs
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows servers, workstations, and enterprise network infrastructure
  • Maintain file servers, firewalls, network access controls, security monitoring systems, and system documentation
  • Analyze and resolve system and network issues to ensure maximum operational availability
  • Prepare systems for operational testing and production deployment
  • Develop, review, and maintain RMF authorization packages and accreditation documentation
  • Coordinate cybersecurity reviews and technical validation of Authorization to Operate (ATO) evidence packages
  • Identify system vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security mitigations
  • Conduct cybersecurity self-inspections and ensure compliance with government security requirements
  • Support secure network operations in accordance with DoD cybersecurity policies and security controls
  • Perform account provisioning, modifications, and deactivations across multiple classified environments
  • Provide Help Desk support and technical troubleshooting for end users
  • Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software systems
  • Support Video Teleconferencing (VTC) administration, scheduling, and configuration
  • Provide Government-issued laptop support
  • Support media accountability and control procedures
  • Perform COMSEC account and equipment management activities
  • Ensure compliance with SAP, SCI, and collateral information security requirements
