Compensation

Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Status: Full Time 9.5 hr 4 Day

Shift: 10 HOUR NIGHT SHIFT

Department: Pharmacy

Position Summary

Summary:
The Pharmacist will advance rational, patient-oriented drug therapy. He/she will promote Pharmacists as integral members of the health-care team in order to allow full utilization of their clinical and drug use control functions that would be beneficial in each health setting. He/she will serve as a primary advocate for advancing professional practice, increasing cost-effectiveness of pharmaceutical services and improving the quality of patient care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:
Education Required
• Must complete in-house orientation program
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.

Experience And Skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English
• Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred but not necessary.

License/Certifications
• New York State Pharmacy License.
• New York State Pharmacy Registration Certificate.
• Current certificate in BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Immunization Certification.
