What You'll Do:
In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact between client and the contractor, ensuring smooth communication and delivery of IT professional services. You will manage project plans, staffing plans, schedules, milestones, risks, issues, and resource assignments. You will coordinate enterprise IT initiatives across technical teams, business stakeholders, and subcontractors while ensuring contract compliance. You will also facilitate executive meetings, provide status reports, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality. Additionally, support process improvements, operational excellence, and effective delivery using Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between DC Water and the Contractor.
  • Provide overall contract, engagement, and delivery management for IT Professional Services.
  • Develop and manage project plans, staffing plans, schedules, milestones, and resource assignments.
  • Coordinate enterprise IT initiatives across multiple technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Oversee resource acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, and workforce planning.
  • Monitor contractor performance, service levels, staffing metrics, and customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and provide project status reporting.
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Ensure successful delivery of enterprise IT services within schedule, budget, quality, and performance objectives.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives and operational excellence.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • 12+ years of progressively responsible IT Project or Program Management experience.
  • 5+ years managing enterprise IT staffing, professional services, or managed services engagements.
  • Experience managing large-scale enterprise IT projects supporting public sector, utility, or regulated organizations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams consisting of architects, developers, analysts, infrastructure engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $140.000
