We are seeking a talented and experienced Cloud Application Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and deploying applications in an AWS environment. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure cloud-based solutions.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:- Serve as primary technical contact with the client.
- Gather product requirements from customers.
- Evaluate, and when necessary, prototype, alternatives to determine the most appropriate approach for each solution.
- Determine how to satisfy these requirements.
- Where appropriate, define new services to fulfill a project's particular needs.
- Prepare functional specifications that can be understood by customers and internal development teams.
- Work with the professional services team members to estimate the work for a given project.
- At times work directly with the internal client to coordinate new projects, many of which will involve multiple phases.
- Transition finished projects to the support group.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience with an emphasis in software systems applications, design, development, and inter-connectivity.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
- Experience building web applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Set Yourself Apart With:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer certification.
- Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.
- Knowledge of database management systems and data modeling.
