What you will do:The Senior Program Manager serves as the primary interface between the contractor and USCIS leadership and is responsible for overall task order execution. This role provides program and project management oversight for Zero Trust initiatives, including planning, resource coordination, schedule management, risk tracking, and reporting. The Program Manager ensures integration across Zero Trust pillars, supports prioritization based on mission needs and funding, and delivers clear status, deliverables, and executive communications aligned to USCIS requirements.
Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary interface with USCIS program leadership, COR, and Zero Trust pillar leads, providing day-to-day program direction and accountability for task order execution.
- Lead planning, execution, and integration of Zero Trust initiatives across identity, devices, networks, applications, data, and security operations.
- Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables aligned to USCIS priorities, funding constraints, and maturity goals.
- Actively manage risks, dependencies, staffing, and workload prioritization across a matrixed technical team supporting multiple Zero Trust pillars.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of status reports, briefings, maturity updates, and executive-level communications.
- Coordinate contractor resources and technical leads to ensure consistent execution, quality control, and adherence to DHS and USCIS standards and processes.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying gaps, recommending adjustments, and aligning execution with evolving threats, technologies, and Zero Trust requirements.

Qualifications:- 5+ years of professional experience managing cybersecurity or related IT projects/programs.
- 3+ years of experience managing complex cybersecurity or Zero Trust programs in a federal environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple technical workstreams simultaneously, including scheduling, resourcing, risk tracking, and dependency management.
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust concepts, maturity models, and federal cybersecurity requirements.
- Proven ability to translate technical execution into clear, actionable communications for senior government stakeholders.
- Experience working within DHS or comparable federal agencies and operating in highly regulated environments.
- Public Trust or Secret clearance
Set yourself apart:- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience managing Zero Trust efforts aligned with OMB, DHS, and CISA guidance.
- Background supporting authorization, continuous monitoring, or enterprise security transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with managing vendor, integrator, and government technical teams in a collaborative delivery model.
