Position Summary
Investment Operations & Forecasting is a global discipline within the Investment function, focused on building and scaling the processes, governance, and operational infrastructure that power accurate, standardized, and actionable investment forecasting and reporting across our agencies and markets.
The Director, Investment Operations will serve as a key liaison between the centralized Investment Operations & Forecasting team and the legacy Omnicom agencies (Hearts & Sciences, OMD, and PHD). This role is focused on driving agency adoption and ongoing optimization of investment processes while ensuring agency needs and feedback directly inform the evolution of global tools, workflows, and governance.
The Director is responsible for supporting day-to-day forecasting operations, driving forecast quality and consistency, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and partnering closely with Marketplace Strategy and Strategic Partnerships teams to ensure agencies are equipped with the data, pacing insights, and planning support needed to drive strong commercial outcomes.
This role will manage multiple initiatives across agencies and accounts to improve forecast accuracy, streamline workflows, and strengthen operational alignment between agencies and centralized teams. The Director will work closely with Data Operations, Investment Enablement, Marketplace Strategy, Strategic Partnerships, Finance, and regional teams to ensure forecasting processes and outputs effectively support planning, reporting, and negotiations.
The goal of this role is to ensure agency teams are fully supported, enabled, and set up for success in delivering accurate forecasts, adopting standardized processes, and leveraging investment data to inform planning and partner negotiations.
Responsibilities
Act as the day-to-day connection point between Investment Operations and the Hearts & Science, OMD, and PHD agency teams.
Provide hands-on support for forecasting workflows, timelines, and deliverables across agency accounts.
Ensure agency needs, challenges, and feedback are captured and fed back into process, product, and workflow improvements.
Partner with agency teams to ensure forecasts are complete, accurate, and aligned to global standards prior to submission.
Support forecast QA processes, validation checks, and issue resolution in collaboration with the Group Director and Data Operations.
Help identify recurring issues and drive improvements that reduce rework and improve forecasting reliability.
Ensure agencies are onboarded and trained on forecasting processes, tools, and best practices.
Monitor adherence to global forecasting standards and support teams in improving compliance and consistency.
Assist in developing training materials, documentation, and ongoing enablement sessions.
Support agency teams with investment data and insights needed for account planning, goal development, and partner negotiations.
Collaborate with Marketplace Strategy to ensure agencies understand and can operationalize planning guidance.
Help ensure partner data is accurate, timely, and aligned with forecasting outputs.
Collaborate on preparation of inputs that support partnership planning and negotiation strategies.
Surface opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort within agency forecasting and operations.
Support rollout of new tools, process enhancements, and workflow improvements.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure new initiatives are successfully implemented at the agency level.
Work closely with Data Operations, Investment Enablement, Finance, and regional teams to ensure alignment across forecasting, reporting, and investment workflows.
Support ongoing feedback loops between agencies and centralized teams to continuously improve the operating model.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
7-10 years in demonstrated excellence in agency investment, account management and/or operations
Minimum 5 years in integrated planning role in media, publisher / vendor, or communications discipline
Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, vendors, and agency leadership

The salary range for this position is posted below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee's/applicant's skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
150,000.00 - 160,000.00
Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
