Within U.S. GWM, the Strategic Accounts team9score responsibilityisbuilding and expandingPIMCO9s largest intermediary clients (i.e.,national,and regional broker-dealers, banks, platforms, etc.).Members of the Strategic Accounts team act asstrategicpartners,providinghighly customized investment solutions and servicesto meetthe unique needs of these keyclients.The team9s successis measured not just by sales and asset growth, but also by the strength and depth of client relationships, client satisfaction, and the strategic alignment of PIMCO9s solutions with client goals.This unique and dynamic business function requirespartnershipand collaborationwithall corners of thefirm, including but not limited tothe following teams: Product Strategy, Portfolio Management, Sales, Marketing, Legal & ComplianceandOperations.
Responsibilities forthisinternship include:
Conductingresearch on market trends,competitor offerings,economic indicators, and investment products tosupport the broader team9s abilityto differentiate PIMCO9s solutionsfor clients.
Usingdata analytics tools to analyze client portfolios, investment performance, and market data toservice existing clients andsupportinternalstrategic decision-making.
Assistingin the development and execution of client business plans in collaboration with GWM stakeholders, including sales and product strategy teams.
You'llexcel as aU.S. GWMAccount Analyst if you:
Adopta team-based approach, communicate effectively, collaborate on key projects, and deliver individual work within expected timelines,allwhilemaintaininga high levelof attention to detail.
Possess a growthmindset by problem-solving, being curious about the role, and thinkingcreativelyabouthow to contribute to the success of the broader business.
Demonstrate astrong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, and investmentsthrough relevant coursework, certifications, internship/work experience and/orparticipation inprofessional organizations& campus clubs.
Due to the technical nature of this role, all full-time members of Strategic Accounts must pass FINRA series exams. In addition, some members have furthered their credentials through an MBA and/orparticipation in the chartered financial analyst progrom through theCFAinstitute.
Articulate ideas/strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Demonstratetheability to conduct research and analyze complex data toidentifytrends and draw meaningful insights; someproficiencyin financial modeling is a plus.
Possess a solid foundation in finance and economics,along withfamiliarity with financial statements and basic investment concepts.
Possess the ability to develop client relationships into strategic partnershipsand have aninterest inaclient facingfinancecareer.
Demonstratehigh levelofproficiencywith Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstratecuriosity and experience in using new emerging technologies and AI tools in your work or school projects to solve problems and drive better outcomes

The PIMCO Internship Experience:
The PIMCO Internship is a 10-week program that runs from early June to mid-August, with the expectation that you will be available for the full duration of the program
