Full Job Description
Job Title: 2027 Spring Co-op LVD Product Development
  • Grade: Co-op
  • Location: Cambridge, MA
  • Duration: 6 months


We are seeking a Large Volume Device Product Development Co-op to join our team for a 6-month co-op assignment. This opportunity will provide a hands-on experience in the development of large volume drug delivery devices, working alongside experienced engineers.

As a co-op, you will contribute to the design, documentation and analysis of innovative drug delivery systems that directly impact patient care. You'll be exposed to cross-functional collaboration, regulatory considerations, and the full product development lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the design, development, and optimization of large volume device systems for drug delivery applications
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing
  • Analyze experimental data and present findings to project teams
  • Support risk assessments and troubleshooting activities related to device performance
  • Participate in team meetings and design reviews


About You

Basic Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related field with plans to graduate in 2027 or 2028
  • Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the Internal requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship.
  • Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.

  • Proficiency with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and engineering tools

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $35.00 -$45.00 hourly. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
