2027 Full-Time Analyst - Insurance CommercialNew York, NYKKR is seeking a Full-Time Analyst to join KKR's Insurance business on the New York-based Commercial Team. This principal investing team within KKR's insurance segment is focused on deploying capital on reinsurance and acquisition opportunities in the US and Global Insurance markets.
Responsibilities:The Full-Time Analyst will work closely with other members of the Insurance Commercial Team and interface with business leaders and senior management to:
- Produce investment analysis on all potential opportunities. This consists of building three-statement financial models and presentation materials detailing the strategic rationale and economic thesis
- Present investment recommendations to senior team members
- Prepare materials used to support transaction recommendations to executive management team
- Engage in and support the negotiation of transaction opportunities with potential clients / counterparties
- Monitor financial markets and assess impact on the business and potential transaction opportunities
- Support development of origination and strategy materials for the business
- Collaborate with other areas such as Investments, Risk, Actuarial, Finance, and Legal
Qualifications:- Anticipated graduation date from an undergraduate program in December 2026 - June 2027
- Outstanding academic record
- Minimum of one internship or similar work experience in financial services or consulting. Experience in investment banking, consulting, or insurance is preferred
- Demonstrated interest in finance through on-campus involvement
- Strong analytical/quantitative aptitude, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Curiosity about adopting emerging AI technologies to improve quality of work and productivity
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and relevance
- Ability to learn quickly with clear intellectual curiosity and self-motivation; strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work both independently and within teams
This is the expected annual base salary range for this New York-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
