Role OverviewAs a Connected Car Application Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that power Hyundai's Connected Car ecosystem. You'll collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable applications.
- Design and develop Java/JEE software modules and RESTful web services for Connected Car applications.
- Translate feature specifications into technical designs and implement new functionalities.
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and support testing and deployment activities.
- Research emerging technologies and recommend architectural improvements for scalability and performance.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in software development, design, and architecture with Java/J2EE and database technologies.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, and Spring framework.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and web application development.
- Proficiency in deploying applications on J2EE servers (JBoss, WebLogic, Tomcat) and working with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Connected Car or IoT platforms.
- Familiarity with ESB technologies (Apache Camel, Mule ESB) and distributed frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL).
- Exposure to mobile app development (iOS/Android) and public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of subscription-based billing systems and payment gateway integrations.
- AWS or GCP certifications and experience with SaaS billing workflows.
Salary range: $96,550 to $138,061
