Job Summary At this time, only current PSEG employees are being considered. This role is an entry-level supervisory position. Primary responsibilities include leading coordination of all outreach activities for PSE&G's capital programs within a designated area. The current opening will develop strategic outreach, stakeholder management, executive engagement, and communications strategy for out-of-state transmission projects and oversee in-state distribution and infrastructure programs. This position coordinates with manager and director level employees on strategy with community constituencies -including local media, property owners, municipalities, businesses, special interest groups, and organized opponents- to facilitate the planning, approval process and construction of PSE&G's capital program. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of public outreach employees, coordinating projects and workflow and informing senior management of any issues. Overnight travel is required for project coordination and stakeholder engagement. This position will also manage team operational tracking, communications systems, and vendor administration.
This position collaborates with Regional Public Affairs and Corporate Communications in developing and implementing plans to create long-term success and minimizing constraints for PSE&G's capital program, with special focus at the municipal government and community levels.
This position is hybrid with the expectation to work in the office a minimum of three days each work week. Primary reporting location is South Plainfield.

- Manage and coordinate the activities of the public outreach employees within the area, coordinating project and workflow and informing senior management of any issues.
- This position must identify, influence and manage issues associated with PSE&G capital projects and coordinate with the Senior Manager and director level employees on strategy with community constituencies including local media, property owners, special interest groups, organized opponents, local municipalities and businesses to facilitate the planning, approvals process and construction of PSE&G's capital program.
- Adapt and implement a construction communications plan for maximum positive impact with key stakeholders on all PSE&G capital projects, and monitor project related claims issues.
Job Specific Qualifications- Bachelor's degree Business/Communications and 4+ years' experience in governmental affairs/corporate communications/public affairs, customer facing or related experience or in lieu of Bachelor's degree, 8 years' experience in the following: Community outreach/relations, public affairs/relations, customer relations, corporate communications or governmental affairs.

- Strong strategic thinking, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to conduct research, provide competitive intelligence reports, executive public affairs assessments.
- General familiarity with creative processes (layout, photography, print production).
- Must possess and maintain a valid U. S. driver's license and maintain a safe driving record
