Manage and own the design and implementation of Zoox’s user-facing applications on Android for smart-phone as well as embedded environments. You will be expected to set and implement current best practices in mobile development and collaborate with our talented design and product teams on identifying and solving questions about how our users (riders) can access Zoox services in the most efficient and intuitive manner.

Manage and own the design and implementation of Zoox’s user-facing applications for Android tablet as well as embedded environments (infotainment console based on Android AOSP). Set and implement current best practices in mobile development.

Architect and evolve Product Software's distributed systems to support scaling autonomous fleet operations. Drive technical strategy and make key architectural decisions for the fleet management platform.

Partner with product, design and engineering leadership to define a technical vision, strategy and roadmap that complements the product direction. Design end-to-end technical solutions that span not just our user interfaces, but also the cloud systems, autonomous planner and vehicle firmware that are their nearest neighbors.

Architect and integrate mission-critical software components that process data from multiple vehicle sensors and systems, implementing robust error handling and failsafe mechanisms while adhering to automotive-grade safety standards.
