The United States Army Futures Command is a United States Army command aimed at modernizing the Army. It is headquartered in Austin, Texas, with a secondary location in the Crystal City neighborhood of Arlington, Virginia. The command was established on July 1, 2018, and is the Army's fourth command since the Vietnam War. The command is responsible for leading the Army's future force modernization enterprise, which includes the development of concepts, requirements, and modernization priorities.
