TVA Fossil Power Plant is a coal-fired power plant located in Stevenson, Alabama. The plant is owned and operated by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), a federally owned corporation that provides electricity to 10 million people in parts of seven southeastern states. The TVA Fossil Power Plant has a capacity of 1,800 megawatts and generates enough electricity to power more than 1 million homes.
