Trine University is a private university in Angola, Indiana. It was founded in 1884 as Tri-State Normal College and retained the reference to the "Tri-State" area, although the school relocated to Angola and changed its name to Trine in 1975. The university offers degrees in engineering, business, arts & sciences, education, and health sciences.
