Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania is a public university in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. It is part of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. The university is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and has more than 100 undergraduate programs and 50 graduate programs. The university has a student body of approximately 6,800 students and a faculty of 400. The university was founded in 1871.
