The Regional Director is also responsible for the attendance and participation in designated hospital committees. Assures that department operations adhere to guidelines per the state, accreditation and all other agencies.
Communicates with staff, physicians and administration both written and verbally. Develops and administers comprehensive Behavioral Health Programing that responds to the patient demographic needs and support the organization�s overall mission, philosophy, and goals.
Responsible for creating and/or implementing tracking mechanisms to track increases in volume, growth, revenue, etc. and be able to drill down data to quantify specific efforts and how they have led to increases in volume, growth, revenue, etc. by program, service line and/or physician.
The Regional Director of Patient Financial Services is accountable to the VP of Revenue Cycle for the day-to-day management of personnel, including staffing, timekeeping, employee evaluations, counseling interviewing and selection of staff within established guidelines.
Provides triage and treatment to pediatric, adult and geriatric patients seeking emergency care. Assumes house supervisory responsibilities as assigned, including responding to codes throughout the hospital, assessing and charting, and following through with appropriate documentation.

The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.
The Director acts as liaison between Medical Center and other contracted personnel/vendors performing Facilities related work. The Director presents a positive image of the hospital to patients, visitors, physicians and the public.
Application of performance improvement methodologies to minimize waste, decrease errors, increase efficiency and ultimately improve care and appropriate utilization of informatics to communicate, manage knowledge with clinical expertise and patient values for optimal care.
Oversees the food safety and nutritional care aspects of the Food and Nutrition Services Department to ensure full compliance with federal, state and other regulatory agencies. Ensures the efficiency of food prepared in the department taking into consideration food safety, nutritional adequacy and appropriate patient nutritional care responsible for the development and enforcement of policies and procedures that direct clinical services, food preparation, distribution and service, purchasing, sanitation, safety practices, performance improvement, and staff education and development.
