Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) is a public media organization that serves the state of Oregon. OPB produces and broadcasts television and radio programs, as well as digital content, on a variety of topics, including news, arts and culture, and science and environment. The organization was founded in 1923 as KFDJ, a radio station in Portland. OPB is a member of the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and National Public Radio (NPR) and has won numerous awards for its programming.
