Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) is a non-profit organization that provides educational assessments and data analysis tools for K-12 schools and districts. Founded in 1977, NWEA's assessments are used by over 10 million students in more than 14,000 schools across the United States. NWEA's assessments are designed to measure student growth and proficiency in a variety of subjects, including math, reading, and science. In addition to its assessments, NWEA also provides professional development and consulting services to help schools and districts improve student learning outcomes. NWEA is headquartered in Portland, Oregon and has additional offices in Ohio, Virginia, and Washington.
