The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role is accountable for ensuring very high availability of the entire application environment and is responsible for taking appropriate actions to minimize downtime and unavailability and resolve issues pertaining to performance etc.
Accountable to opportunity generation, pipeline and revenue on Azure solutions - lead the team (direct and matrixed) to drive revenue goals on Azure solutions.
Engage with partners and customers after the sale to ensure that key commitments during the pre-sales process.
Responsible for the overall partner relationship, including: strategic planning, revenue growth targets and all operations necessary to profitably retain, grow and service the customer.
Propose development and conduct system architecture development, planning and implementation. Implement backup solutions and recovery and monitor procedures, ongoing support performance and backup infrastructure.
Adherence to all infrastructure build standards and final certification of all new system builds through a formal team Operational Readiness reviews.
Create and maintain all partner Opportunities in SalesForce in order to provide current pipe-line and forecast information to management on a weekly basis.
Deliver insight on customer's IT operational needs, challenges and design solutions to transform their IT operations.
Builds and orchestrates sales pipeline activity. Ensures active nurturing of deals and movement of opportunities to closure.
Experience on migrating applications using any of the public clouds notably Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure or Google.
Design, build, manage and operate the infrastructure and configuration of the Allstate platform environments with a focus on automation and infrastructure as code.
Constantly learning and advancing in the latest technologies to build a trusted relationship with our partners.
