The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) is the United States Navy's engineering command, committed to the Navy's and United States Marine Corps' combat readiness. NAVFAC is responsible for the planning, design, construction, contingency engineering, real estate, environmental, and public works support for U.S. Navy shore facilities around the world. NAVFAC is headquartered at the Washington Navy Yard and has offices across the United States.
