La Sierra University is a Seventh-day Adventist university located in Riverside, California. It offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level degrees and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The university was founded in 1922 as La Sierra Academy and became a four-year liberal arts college in 1946. In 1990, it became a university.
